Twelve drivers were at the top of the podium this year. Here is our “Hall of Fame”:

BOSS GP SUPER LIGHTS CLASS

The Swiss Stephan Glaser from Jo Zeller Racing made an excellent debut in the BOSS GP with his Dallara World Series V6 T08 at the season opener at the Hockenheimring with a double victory. He then dominated the Super Light Class and was on the podium eleven times in the twelve races, including nine times at the top.


Stefan Scho (GER), Scho Racing, celebrated a much-noticed double victory with his Lola F3000 91/50 at the Nürburgring. At the TT Circuit in Assen he was only beaten by Stephan Glaser in both races.


The former Super Lights overall winner of 2022, Andreas Hasler (AUT), Hasler Motorsport, was only back in the race towards the end of the season due to technical problems with his Dallara World Series V6 T08. In the four races in which he took part, he was on the podium every time, including at the top in the finale in Misano.

BOSS GP FORMULA CLASS

The big surprise in this numerically strong class came from Alexander Seibold (GER), Seibold auto + sport, with the opening victory at the ADAC Hockenheim Historic in the Dallara GP2/05.

Juju Noda (JAP), MM International Motorsport, Dallara GP2/11, caused a stir at the two Sunday races in Spielberg and Assen. She was the only Amazon in the large BOSS GP field to be at the top of the podium twice.


Former Formula 3 driver and BOSS GP newcomer Vladimir Netusil (CEZ) got along well with the Dallara GP2/11 from MM International Motorsport right from the start. In Misano he was able to celebrate winning the Formula Class in Saturday’s race.


Last year’s overall winner Simone Colombo (ITA), MM International Motorsport, Dallara GP2/11, was able to celebrate winning the Formula Class race a total of seven times. A lot of bad luck towards the end of the season prevented him from repeating his success from 2023.


The always cheerful Irishman Paul O’Connell, HS-Engineering, is at a slight disadvantage in the Formula Class with his slightly weaker Dallara World Series 3.5 V8 T12, but that doesn’t stop him from being right up there. His enormous effort was rewarded with a win at the finale in Misano.

BOSS GP OPEN CLASS

For a long time it looked as if the Brazilian ex-Formula 1 driver Antonio Pizzonia, HS-Engineering, Dallara World Series 4.5 V8 T12, would have a solo season. With nine wins and tremendous speed, he was always at the front of the entire BOSS GP field.


Haralds Slegelmilhs (LVA) only competed in the season finale in Misano this year. But what he delivered in both races with the second Dallara World Series 4.5 V8 T12 from HS-Engineering was absolutely worth seeing. Exciting duels with Pizzonia from start to finish and in the first Misano race he managed to win the Open Class.

BOSS GP F1 CLASS

At the start of the season things didn’t go well for series winner Ingo Gerstl (AUT), Team Top-Speed. Due to technical problems with the Toro Rosso STR1, he didn’t score any points in five races. It was only on the second day of racing at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg that the Salzburg native returned to winning ways. However, five wins in a row were not enough to take overall victory in the BOSS GP again.


ESBA-Racing driver Ulf Ehninger (GER), in the Benetton B197, benefited from his three race wins at the start of the season. After that, the likeable Tübingen native was able to regularly collect points to maintain his lead and celebrate being the overall winner of the BOSS GP F1 Class again in 2021.
