Before the finale of BOSS GP in Misano, the score is 50:50 for victory.
Two overall victories have already been secured, but two titles are still up for grabs at the BOSS GP finale in Misano. In the strongest category of the BOSS GP, the German Ulf Ehninger from ESBA-Racing crowned himself champion of the F1 class for the second time after 2022 with his Benetton B197 F1. At the start of the season, Ehninger benefited from the technical failures of Ingo Gerstl (AUT), Team Top-Speed, in the Toro Rosso STR 1. He did not start the race at the Red Bull Ring with the Benetton F1 because he was looking after his son in a kart race that weekend. But after that, as was the case two years ago, regular points collection proved successful.
Much joy about the second overall victory in the F1 class: Ulf Ehninger and the ESBA Racing Team.
Former Formula 1 driver Antonio Pizzonia from HS-Engineering was also successful for the second time. Just like in 2023, the likeable Brazilian dominated the BOSS GP Open Class with the powerful Dallara World Series V8 T12 4.5. With the exception of Assen, where HS-Engineering was not involved, Pizzonia scored the maximum number of points in every race and thus secured overall victory in the BOSS GP Open Class even before Misano.

The other two classes are still open, although in the highly competitive Formula Class in particular, the overall victory and numerous other placings have not yet been determined.
Assuming that Simone Colombo (ITA), MM International Motorsport, who is currently in second place in the Formula Class, wins both races in Misano with the Dallara GP2, as he did recently, then the current leader Marco Ghiotto (ITA), Scuderia Palladio, only needs a third and a fourth place to assert himself as champion of the BOSS GP Formula Class with a half-point lead. Behind this Italian duo is Colombo’s team-mate and Japan’s young Amazon Juju Noda. The daughter of ex-Formula 1 driver Hideki Noda is running a double program this year with BOSS GP and the Japanese Super Formula series. Her third place in the Formula Class is by no means secured. Rookie Michael Fischer (AUT) from Red Rose Racing by LRT, who has achieved excellent results in his first year in the BOSS GP, theoretically still has the chance to take third place overall in the Formula Class. The finale in Misano could also shake up the overall rankings in the places behind him.
In the Super-Lights, last year’s champion Henry Clausnitzer (GER), WF-Racing, with his Tatuus Formula Renault V6 also only has a theoretical chance of repeating his success from 2023, because the Swiss Stephan Glaser, Jo Zeller Racing, Dallara World Series V6, dominated the small class this year, in his first BOSS GP season. With the exception of the race at the Nürburgring, where Glaser only finished second and fifth, the Swiss driver won all other races in the Super-Lights of the BOSS GP Racing Series.
